What does it cost to place a classified ad?

Completely Free.  It is has always been our goal to provide a free resource to connect cattlemen.

If I am already registered on the Steer Planet Forums will my login be the same?

No, you need to register again.  I was originally planning to have the user information tied together, but since we are storing new information securely, it was best to have you re-register. 

Why can't I upload images on my iphone or ipad?

Apple does not allow file uploads via the safari browser in iOS5. You can upgrade to iOS6 (available 9/19/12)  or use a 3rd party app which allow this function (Picup).

Is this site secure?

Yes, we use 256-bit SSL encryption to protect your personal information.

Do I need to include a price in my listing?

Even though most buyers prefer for a price to accompany an ad, it is NOT mandatory.

Can I save items to revisit later?

Yes, a feature is included which will allow you to "bookmark" listings when you are logged into your account.

If I sell my item, can I take it off myself?

Yes, and please do.  Also it would be much appreciated if you can let us know you had a successful transaction.

How do buyers and sellers communicate with each other?

A seller has full control on how they prefer to be contacted.   We provide buyers with the ability to private message the seller through a form that is accessible on each of the seller's listing pages. The seller will then be notified by email of the buyer's questions and the seller can either reply by email or log in to their account and reply through our private messaging system. The seller can choose to keep their email address anonymous.
